What is included in a standard maid service?

Should I book a maid by the hour or for a full day?

Hourly bookings suit most homes: 2 hours works for spaces up to 35 sqm, 3 hours up to 55 sqm, 4 hours up to 75 sqm, and 5 hours for homes of 75–180 sqm. For larger houses, move-in or move-out cleans, or a long list of tasks, a full-day arrangement agreed directly with your provider is usually better value.

Do I need to tip my maid or provide cleaning supplies?

Tipping is not required, though it is always appreciated for great work. Ask your provider in advance whether they bring their own cleaning supplies or will use yours — many customers prefer their own products for floors and kitchens. It also helps to secure valuables, mention priority areas, and let the provider know about pets before they arrive.
